Amanda passed the Strings Advanced Level (Level 10 Violin) of certification by the Music Teachers’ Association of California, Los Angeles Branch, in March 2019.

She played with the String Ensemble of the Verdugo Young Musicians Association for two years and the String Orchestra of the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra for another two years. She also played with the Westridge Orchestra for three years and the Crestview Prep String Ensemble for three years.

She placed third in the Open Strings category (age 14) of the Satori String Competition in 2017.

She’s been with her teacher, Liana Gaughan of Pasadena, for ten years.
